Warranty Policy
Hereby we would like to notify, due to determination of lease in Netherlands RMA center in Dec., 2021, IEI would like to notify partners to NOT send any RMA goods to NL since now.
** For those RMA in NL, we will depend on materials status, which will be repaired in NL or arrange to ship back to Taiwan RMA site.
** For further RMA goods, please kindly deliver them to Taipei, Taiwan as below address. Thanks.
Once we are to open European RMA site in 2022year, we ensure to inform you of any update information then. Thanks.

Warranty
All iEi products are guaranteed against any manufacturing defects for a limited time starting from shipping date.
Two years for all iEi products, but excluding battery
The battery of iEi product is only one year warranty.

System level products (excluding battery):Price +15%

Any products returned within the warranty period will be either repaired or replaced depending on condition of the products as determined by iEi. Furthermore, as iEi’s distributor, you are obligated to sort out all products being returned for repairs. It is intended to reduce the overhead costs for both our companies.
General maintenance cases and out of warranty products will provide repair results, but no additional investigation report is provided.

Returns and Repairs within the Warranty Period
The warranty is voided for products that have been misused, been improperly installed or had unauthorized repairs. All returns should be shipped without accessories and shipped in well-protected packaging. Product return in original packaging is recommended and preferred.
All return goods must have a Return Authorization No., which you can get from the iEi sales representatives or the eRMA system prior to the returning of products. Goods returned without a Return Authorization No. will not be processed.
Before returning, please double check all the jumpers are set to the default positions. Many problems can be rectified by changing incorrect jumper settings or by clearing the CMOS. For failure analysis purposes, please fill out the RMA request form and clearly describe the nature of the failure as well as specifying the configuration of the system. These details will help our technicians to identify the problem and repair it efficiently, otherwise, it may take longer to have the goods repaired.
You are responsible for all costs when sending products from your location back to iEi, this includes all shipping charges and any import duties imposed on said products. All goods must be sent with pre-paid shipping direct to the location where the repairs will be made. iEi will cover all costs of sending the product back to you after repair. In other words, the customer is fully responsible for all charges occurring until the goods reach iEi.
Out of Warranty
Shipping charges, both ways, are to be paid solely by the customer. A repairing fee will be charged depending on the defective status and the product types The repairing fee includes labor fee and component cost.
Due to the rising cost of raw materials in recent years, we will adjust slightly the maintenance cost of the products under the consideration of multiple factors.

Board level products (SBC, backplane, etc): USD 25 up for TPE service
System level products: TPE: USD 30 up
A proforma invoice will be issued for customer’s confirmation.
Paid RMA items warranty: iEi will offer 3 months warranty for paid RMA items; warranty starts from the return date. Repaired goods will be returned upon receipt of full payment.
DOA (Defect On Arrival)
If manufacturing defects are identified within three months of shipping, replacement products can be requested immediately. In this case, the RMA form can be filled out, after which the replacement products will be sent to the customer, and the customer must return the defective products.
Limitations Of Liability
Under no circumstances will iEi, its service provider or either’s affiliates, employees, officers, directors or agents be liable for any consequential, indirect, special, punitive, or incidental damages, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable, (including, but not limited to), claims for loss of data, goodwill, inconvenience, delay, profits, use of money or use of the iEi products, interruption in use or availability of data.
iEi’s and the service provider’s entire liability and customer’s sole and exclusive remedy for claims related to or arising out of these teams and contract for any cause and despite the form of action, whether in contract or in tort, statutory or otherwise, including negligence and strict liability, will not exceed the amount of the purchase price paid. This limitation of liability will be effective even if customer has advised iEi or its service provider of possibility of the possibility of any such damages.
