Taking blood pressure is standard procedure for hospitals in Taiwan. Almost every time a patient comes in they have their blood pressure measured.
This simple procedure provides both real benefits from tracking patient’s blood pressure over time, but also perceived care for patients. However, this extra service can put tremendous load on resources. As part of the move towards paperless medical records many hospitals are looking to streamline these cumbersome processes.
This case study looks at how we helped our client to create a paperless process and reduce the number of staff needed to supervise the monitoring of patient's blood pressure.
