IEI Announces New Industrial Computer Boards and Embedded System designed with new 5th generation Intel® Core™ processors

The 5th generation Intel® Core™ processor is designed to prove excellent graphics and performance, supporting the next generation of Internet of Things solutions, while maintaining compatibility with previous generations.
IEI’s WAFER-ULT2 is a 3.5” form factor embedded board supporting the new 5th generation Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3 and Celeron® processor. It features independent display via LVDS, VGA and iDP and supports PCIe Mini card slot for mSATA, 3G card, wireless card and DOM. By using 5th generation Intel® Core™ processors, WAFER-ULT2 provides high performance, many I/O interfaces and flexible expansion slots in order to meet industrial’s needs which can be implemented in different applications. The IVS-200 embedded system is targeted in surveillance applications supporting 5th generation Intel® Core™ processors, which provides substantial performance into an ultra low-power package. The new Intel® HD graphics 5500 and 6000 deliver stunning and responsive visuals in 5th generation Intel® Core™ processors, including increased display resolution, additional codec support, and 4k support.
