In-vehicle IP camera surveillance system with 4G data transmission
Vehicles for modern transport combine a multitude of complex systems for everyday operation. Each additional system increases the complexity of maintenance and repairs. Added to this is the demand for smart vehicles that are constantly monitored by fleet management centers that then optimize their routes, and troubleshoot other issues along the way, without taking the vehicle off the road. This case study takes a closer look at some of the challenges that our client had with implementing these systems in their coaches. We also take a look at how we solved those issues with a single, durable, multi-purpose system.
GPS, OBD-II, and mobile data transmission are all part of the mix and standard in the public transportation sector. However, implementing a security system, taking electronic payment, and remotely monitoring vehicles each complicate the basic system. It would be ideal to combine all of these into a single package that can perform all of these tasks while simplifying the overall management, being more reliable, more robust and more price effective than individual components.
